Here is some old rimfire ammo my father-in-law has kicking around his place. Kind of neat.

I remember those plastic 'Imperial' ammo boxes.... 'Always bought 'em, or rather... had my dad buy 'em from Canadian Tire in the 70's.
I must have gone through dozens of 'em every summer when I was but a lad:)

Cool pics. Kind of off topic but...how does the new air rifle shoot?

Thanks for remembering.

Mixed feelings about receiving my Patriot. It was nothing like I thought. There were tooling marks on the metal, scratches in the blueing( if you could call it blueing), a few dings in the stock, scrapes on the open sight leaf and there is a space between the barrel and the, I am not too sure what you would call it (Seen in 1st Pic). I am not sure if this is common amoung the Turkish Patriots or not.

Now with all that said, I took it to the range and man-o-man is it a fun and powerful rifle.

Here is how powerful this rifle is. This was shot at 25 yards. The hole on the left is a BeemanRam Jet and the right one is a Beeman Lazer.

Both penetrated through the wood.

Here the one on the left was a Beeman Silver Ace and on the right was a Beeman Crow Magnum

You can see the big hole the Crow Magnum's left.

Here is a pic of the thickness of the wood they went through.

I actually returned it on Thursday and am going to be sent another one. Talked to the fellow I delt with and he mentioned that the others he has in stock seem to be fine. He mentioned that mine was the first of the patriots to come in and the box it came in looked beat up to begin with. I will let you know how the replacement one is.
