49 year old rookie hunter.
Gone after turkey, deer & moose so far. (1st season)
Missed one turkey.
No shots at deer or moose. (yet)
But our group got 4 deer and a bull and calf moose.(delicious...mmmm)
Not even close to being discouraged, saw lots of turkey, a couple of deer(too fast for me), a cow and calf(I dogged them out), and a BIG bull moose 40 yards away, broadside, a perfect shooting lane.(out of season, I was on my deer watch)
Can't wait for this years hunts.

Thanks for the welcomes. I know a few guys that hunt in Haliburton.
They were kind enough to invite me into their group.
