Never have I seen anything done like this altho it reminds me of the parker hale setup. it has a very very old set of weaver steel rings on it and an old beat to hell K4 weaver post and wire scope. never thought to take a pic with the scope on it. it did impress me with how nice and low a setup it was/ is. it came to me as a repair job had a broken extractor, so had to take the scope off to get the bolt out. very novel way of putting a scope on anyways I must say . a weaver ring clamped perfectly onto the rear site after it had been filed. setup was very strong. I ask the gent if he knew who had done it and all he said was that it was his dads before him and didn't know anything bout it. said he gets his deer with it every year since forever. interesting setup that ive never seen before anyways.
