Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with a front sight post on a 10.5"?

I sure do. I am rocking one on my 11.5 right now as it does not really interfere with the eotech and works well with back up sights. I kind of like the look but at the same time am tempted to put a low profile gas block on. the A2 front sight is sooo 2007.

I agree, "Old School" would be an XM-177, or maybe a sawed off M-2 Carbine. Or maybe a Grease gun. Or maybe a Stirling, or maybe a Thompson, or a Sten. I'm quite sure that state of the art in 2006 doesn't qualify as old school.

Old School, is hardtail Shovelhead choppers, and Flathead V-8 Ford roadsters, and Bevel Drive Ducati's. I'm pretty sure that it's not anything invented after 1975. Well maybe 1980.
