Old Scopes……?

This old scope was on something that found me whilst out in my travels.
The third cap was puzzling sews I dared meself to uncork it.
Surprise……Surprise……Sirprise…….

Never seen sucha thing.

Curious to know where this creature was built?
Very fine cross reticule with a tiny center dot.
