My father has 2 BNIB simi-auto gas operated shotguns in the vault and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on them(quality compared to modern shotguns) and possibly some current price estimates.

One is a Beretta A.300 in 12 gauge with a 30" barrel chambered in 3inch magnum.

The other is a Browning 2000 12 gauge with a 30" barrel with a full choke.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. and by BNIB I mean never assembled and still in original boxes with original purchase receipts.

The Beretta A 300 is from the early 70's vintage very good Quality even by today's standards it is the basis for the Beretta autos of today the 300 has a chrome lined bbl they can be altered to shoot steel shot value in NOS would be $450-$550 to the wright person. The Browning 2000 are of ok quality and had a short life span they are also from the 70's they were made in a 3''and a 23/4'' version you hand to have two separate bbl's and interchange them they sold new for around $300 they are not very sought after in today's market.

Neither would be in big demand by hunters now. Fixed choke and Full choke make people look elsewhere. Target shooters may show more interest, but possibly not for a magnum gun.
