I recently sold my custom benchrest rimfire as it does not see much use. I knew I still needed something to fill the spot though (just cheaper). Threw a wtb add up here and voila.. Winchester 52C in my hands. I typically only shoot scoped guns but do not have a scope mount yet for this 52C. I decided I would try it with the factory sights.
The picture is a 5 shot group at 25 yards indoors. While it may not seem impressive it tells me of what the gun is capable of. I think I need to try not black targets also as it is very hard to make them out. I still want to get a Remington 40X to try. I like seeing what can be done with factory guns.
I did not think I could do this well with sights and the lighting I had available. Cant wait to get a scope mount to throw my B&L fixed 36 on her.
