Bought a 67 on auction sight unseen, bluing gone, stock dinged and gouged, but on searching it is a 1935 model, sort of a one year model, chrome bolt and finger grips in stock, got 175 into it, do i leave as is or reblue and do the stock.

I'd say leave it as is. They are not rare, but fairly uncommon these days, since that configuration was only made from 1934-36.

I've resserrecktitted a fair few old Cooey & Winchester stocks.
It's humbling to see what is beneath awl them years of built up layers oh history.
The decision is yers'n yers alone.

I've bin guilty awf yews'in leather dyes tuh pewt sum kulour into a pair of old Cooeys.
One for each of the kids.
Well, thar nawt kids no more...………….but...…………………...:p
