Older Leupold M8 Graduitions?

Just confirming please.

Am I correct in recalling that M8 scopes with the friction (no-click) adjustment dials are graduated in one-inch increments by number?

As in dialing one whole number from 1 to 2 for example should move your 100 yard POI one-inch.

Is that right?

I have two 4x Leupold M8 scopes and a 6X.

i think you are correct. and it is the setting at least for my m-8 3x ....

the friction on some some FX or VX was 1/2 if i remember correctly.
