A friend of mine told me he thought the older tasco world class or world famous were lifetime waranty they were made in Japan.
I have 2 in 36x 44 that have been working flawlessly for years now but I noticed a small black spec on the inside of the lens could be the finish inside that is flaking maybe.
If they are waranteed who would I contact?

i should doubt if there's any way to claim warranty on tasco, and DEFINATELY not on WORLD FAMOUS-which is nothing more than a marketing company- ie K-MART- bushnell now owns tasco, but as to whether they'll honor a warranty from them is doubtful- either way, use the RICHMOND HILL CANADA address, not the cody, wyoning, usa

I would assume the Canadian depot for Bushnell repair.
Tasco World Class scopes are
limited lifetime warrantied,
but so are alot of Bushnells as well.
Bushnell is giving people a hard time lately
with claims,
so i wouldnt hold my breath for an older scope.
I bought a new range finder last year (as in Dec),
works great. The 2nd time out with it,
there is several small black pieces inside
that can be seen while viewing.
After reading all the negative thread comments on their (Bushnell)
lack of warranty claims being honoured,
i haven't bothered to send it in for warranty.
I just may never bother buying their brand again.

on the other hand , i 've had several scopes replaced with the 10 dollar "inspection " fee-a marksman 3x9x32 which wouldn't change power and a 2.5x20 banner which they replaced with a 1.5x4.5 x32 variable b/c they no longer make the 20mm objective- so i got a 89,95 retail scope for 22 bucks- 10 dollars inspection and 11.95 for canada post small package

if i was in ONTARIO, i'd wait until i go to to toronto and WALK IT IN - see what happens

I have heard that if a Tasco scope has no serial number on it,no warranty from
Bushnell...Call them and ask...Tasco World Class Plus where made in Japan in some time
and where very good glass for the buck.
