I have a Weaver K2.5 that is approximately 60 years old on my Savage 99 in 300 Savage. I am going to take it off the Savage and replace it, so my question is: is there any interest in these old scopes? I will likely put it on the EE but I wouldn't even have a clue what a decent asking price is.

Anyone care to chime in have at 'er.

K, thanx for the info and the starting point.... it is in decent shape, and as you would expect, the finish over the years has become slightly worn in some areas.... but there are no dents or scratches and the glass is in good shape although it has long ago lost its fogproof capability.

Yes, there is some interest in them. I have several, including the one I used on my Lee Enfield No.4Mk.2 to take my first deer. I have several old Weaver steel K models and haven't paid as much as $100 for any, though I may have to eventually. People ask that much and more, sometimes, and perhaps they get it. Most of mine I got for $50-60.
