The "Ask the Seller a Question" feed is priceless...
Also...that thing is deserving of an S&B ShortDot 1-8x in the worst way...
Q: Is it right on left handed? Jan-10-13
A: Yes, but it could also be operated left on right handed. Or single handed.
Q: If I wrap this ARock in "pre-ban" mammoth hide, would I need a tax stamp for a supressed rock or would I be cavemanned in? Jan-10-13
A: That method would require a tax stamp even though the mammoth hide is pre-ban. The easy loophole is to use a 100% heavy cotton towel, which is so far unregulated. Remember, they only ban accessories like mammoth hides and shoulder thingies that go up.
Q: Can this Assault Rock be submerged for the hydrographics painting process? I'd like to have it painted multicam to match my plate carrier. Jan-10-13
A: I am caveman. I speak small words.
Q: Do I need a CRP (concealed rock permit) to carry this device concealed in Virginia? Jan-10-13
A: Rock Crawlers are exempt from CRP.
Q: Just for truth in lending purposes I have to tell you that it appears to me to be a Quartz Conglomerate rock, not a "Sedimentary rock with quartz crystals". This would suggest that it is already metamorphosed. You may want to reconsider your price given this information. My wife is a geologist so I have some awareness of this stuff. This does NOT render it more dangerous. People kill people, rocks don't! Jan-10-13
A: Thanks for the info!
Q: It seems small enough to conceal carry. As a child, I remember having some of these in my pockets. Does this one come with a holster? Jan-10-13
A: Cargo shorts ought to do the trick.
Q: Will this rock be compatible with my home defense stick attachment or will I have to get a permit and wait months for the paperwork? Jan-10-13
A: Adding a stick would make it a hammer which is a NFA item. You would need the tax stamp.
Q: Do you have any Tacticool Versions? Black? Forward Grip? Or a holosight? Jan-10-13
A: Sorry this is only offered in the base model shown. Such scary features would make it non-compliant with certain state laws. I don't want to discriminate.
Q: I have young children at home. Can you get a lock for it? Jan-10-13
A: Yes, they make a Rock Club.
Q: Is this caveman's AR15 neutered so it is CA/MA compliant? Jan-10-13
A: I am not familiar with many of the CA/MA rock laws, so you will have to cut its rocks off yourself.
Q: Will this Assault Rock take the "shoulder thing that goes up"? Jan-10-13
A: No, it does not come with a barrel shroud.
Q: I just saw one of these on Rock broker for $600. Should I start panic buying for fear of a BaRock Obama ban coming in the very near future? Jan-10-13
A: Do what you gotta do, but I'd hate to see you end up with a $600 rock when market value drops them back down to $0.06. That would mean the ban never got signed into law, which would be a good thing though...
Q: Is this ARock the safe kind or one of the ones that can pierce body armor? Just curious. Also there seems to be a lot of activity and I was just outbid. Can you get more of these? Jan-10-13
A: Yes these are rated as armor piercing. Cavemen armor consisted only of a few leather hides.
Q: I have the old generation Assualt Rock with the BJ pressure switch and have a question. I am wanting to purchase this new Assuault Rock with new VJ pressure switch for my girl friend since she does not like the felt recoil from the old style BJ Assualt Rock. She feels she is better equipped to handle the newer VJ style Assualt Rock. Is there an aftermarket conversion kit to convert the new VJ Assualt Rock to an old BJ style Assualt Rock? I could kill two birds with one stone so to speak. If so then I could unload my old rock soon and keep us both happy. Jan-10-13
A: I'm sorry but there is currently no upfitter kit available for the first-gen models. But the way I see it, whether a VJ or a BJ, the end result is the most important step.
Q: Can I get one with NRA logo? Jan-10-13
A: As all proceeds go to the NRA, if you are the winning bidder, I am sure that can be arranged.
Q: Are you sure this Caveman AR15 legal in all 57 States? Jan-10-13
A: Yes, President Obama told me himself.
Q: Is this item in fact stolen and/or used in any sort off criminal activity? (ie murder, window breaking, toe stubbing, or tripping) Jan-10-13
A: I have not used this AR15 in any malicious manner, but due to its age I can not give an accurate or complete record of any misdeeds it may have mustered.
Q: From the lack of markings on this AR, I would say you have a rare CSF (Caveman Special Forces) weapon not often seen for sale. The winner of this auction would be well-advised to get it appraised. Jan-10-13
A: Thanks for the heads up.
Q: Assault Rocks(ARock) are evil! So FU ARock Jan-10-13
A: Well played.
Q: According to the FBI Crime stats for homicides in 2011, if blunt objects like this were used 496 times, Hand/feet/fists were used 728, while rifles were only used in 323, SO do you expect THESE to be banned any times soon, or should I bid? Please Advise. Jan-10-13
A: If the opposite of Pro is Con, is the opposite of Progress, Congress? The facts would support a fist/foot ban but instead the geniuses in DC are pushing for a rifle ban. I wouldn't put anything past them. Contact your state legislators to put a stop to this madness!
