Olive and Sand color guns

Hi guys, quick question, all those guns i see that are olive color or sandy color finish, was just wondering if the finish on those guns fades or dulls up or chips off easy compared to a blued pistol?

If anyone who owns any of these guns for years would give me some input I would appreciate it.

For example, I saw the Sig 226 scorpion

If its a polymer frame then its part of the polymer and doesn't fade. As for the finish on the slide, that depends.
