I had the itch to buy something but needed a little push to get off the fence. I wanted something reliable, accurate and well yeah i am cheap...

choices where between SAM Omega 6, NP58, NP22 & NP29. I ended up ordering an Omega 6 $399 wolverine supplies

The SAM is a high quality gun for the price. 399 for the Omega 6 is a great deal. A step and a half above the Norcs in my opinion.

Disagree, SAM are not higher quality.
Vote for the NP29. Accurate as hell (as long as you have half decent skill) and all forged. Nice heavy feel.

I bought the Omega 6!! (guess i am collecting 1911's) the 200.00 off got me + its .40sw and i think the NP58 is a way ###ier beast than the NP22 and it will be nice to have the same ammo... probably get the np58 next.

Eventually i will get a NP29, Thanks for the input!

... Probably should start looking at reloading equipment.

I'd go for the Norinco, because of the forged frame. Wish they had a 1911 in a 40.

I went with the SAM@$480 taxed and shipped, from Wolverine. But thanks for the info.
As much as I am a Norinco fan, the better price won out.
Now to see if these SAM's, can compare to a Norc.

Definitely a good deal i added a 45ACP mag supposedly they feed 40sw fine...

Sub Total=$416.99Cost of shipping=$25.00GST=$22.10Total (CAD)=$464.09

Probably saved on HST because BC has gone back to PST.... Win

Comes with a 1911 mag in 40s&w but rumor has it that standard 1911 45ACP mags work. Hope so cuz the 40 mags are 26$ more than the 45

The CanAm deal is something too good to pass up. Gun and 1000 rounds for $499. If your looking for your next purchase already I'd look at that!
