I bought this Springfield at a Calgary gun show about 20 years ago. The seller said he didn't know that much about it but that it 'might' have been made by Alvin Peterson due to it having a left-hand twist rifling. It didn't matter to me, I wanted it. From actual Rifle Ranch firearms looked at since then I discount that as ones I've seen have usually had a 3 line barrel address. I've taken it apart looking for any makers mark and the only mark anywhere is the .270Win barrel marking. 1 1/2" at 100y is good enough for me with open sights.
The workmanship to me is amazing and would like to know if anyone can recognize the talent behind it?
