In "buckmasters mode" the rangefinder is able to be programmed with your caliber and will tell you which BDC holdover to use on the scope to ensure a good hit. No math, no dope chart, no guessing at how far the target is. Just range it, use the calculated hold and fire. The rangefinder can also be used as a standard (separate from the scope) unit for your other hunting/ranging needs.
The riflescope is non illuminated. It has adjustable side focus and capped finger-adjustable turrets for windage and elevation. The optic also includes a throw lever for fast on-the-fly magnification changes. Riflescope reticle shown in attached images. The optic includes flip style lens covers.
The rangefinder is pre-programmed with 8 different groups to ensure there will be one to fit your cartridge/rifle/muzzleloader/crossbow. The included (in the box) chart shows how to select the best group for your caliber and bullet weight. Buckmasters modes are calibrated for shots up to 500yds.
