has anyone ever heard of such a gun or have any info on them.there is one at a local shop for $650.it looks like it has about 28" tubes,single trigger,extractors,pistol grip stock,silver receiver with a bit of engraving around the edges.fairly light for a 12gauge,maybe 7 lbs.pistol grip stock.

it also has colonial tubes in it.

The company is most likely Ugartechea. I'm not familiar with that model name but Ugartechea is still in business making a wide range of guns from boxlocks up to quite expensive sidelock guns. I would say that the basic Ugartechea boxlock is about the same as the similar model from AyA, a better known Spanish maker.

Any Spanish gun has to be judged on its individual merits. Some can be quite good but others less so. I have owned a couple of Spanish guns and am wary about any of them with single triggers and won't touch one with a single selectable.
