once application sent to CFO for approval, how long is the wait?

Hi everyone! It looks like everything went well so far with my application. Sent it in at the end of September, both contacts and myself had the interviews. I called the other day to check that everything was in order and I was told that application went to the CFO for approval.

At this point should i just wait, or should I call the BC cfo as well? Does the CFO go through the whole background check process also?
 
Civil service will be gearing down, "if thats possible", for Christmas by now and of course cooler weather will bring with it an epidemic of the sniffles and sick day(s).

Figgure on June.

Just kidding, "I hope :rolleyes:", shouldn't be long.
 
Has it been 28 days since they received it? you wont get any answer before 28 days, which is the mandatory waiting period required by law for new applications.

check the status of your application online on the CFC website. After that 28 days, it usually says your license has either been delivered or denied. before the 28 days, it'll say its in progress.

**EDIT**

if and when it reaches the "delivered" status, you should receive it in the mail within 2 weeks. If you haven't in that period of time, you have to call the CFC, as their site would tell you to.

i sent in my application in on sept 17th and on the 21st of October my second reference did the interview and later that day it said it was approved and on it's way. so about 34 days for it to be finished.
 
I just checked again and looks like the license was issued! I checked how many days its been since they received the application and today was exactly day 28. Feels good man!
 
i think that their system automatically updates that status. I got that message exactly after 28 days too, so basically it counts from the day received to the 28th day...

that being said i don't think its necessarely physically issued on that day...you should get it within the next 2 weeks, call em up if its not the case
