Once fired brass...

i would pay 8 to 10 $ for brass, a bit more for the hard to find stuff. the prices for brass on here have been nuts for the past year and i have purchased most of mine from the usa.
 
I know of a number of sales here for 10 cents per, in fact I thought that was the going price!
 
The first and only batch of 1F .223 brass I got off the EE was $80 for 2000+. It makes $0.10/case look like a rip off.

I can count my lucky stars that I got a smokin deal I guess.

Hard to bring myself to pay $100/1000 after that.
