Once-Shot cases- Dinged?

Without seeing a picture it is pure speculation .
The empty case may strike something close to the ejection port
upon its ejection after firing.
Again without more info and maybe a quick pic thats all I am able to offer.

they tend to bounce off the charger bridge and get a ding around the middle of the case, if they are denting at the shoulder, it could be that the case in not sealing the chamber properly
