one of my part just arrived

Just so you know, it won't do anything for "accuracy". It will remove the play between your upper and lower receiver if you have any. That being said. Push out your rear takedown pin, swing your upper receiver forward. With the picture above as your guide, set the "seat" into the lower receiver with the "seatback" against the rear of the receiver so that the takedown pin when installed sits atop the "seat".

Make sense?

sort of make sence would there be a picture of this anywhere.

i actually did buy it to remove the play from the upper and lower.

Here is where is located on my Colt CAR, pretty sure that's where it was when I first bought it.

But maybe I turned it around on one of my play days. ;)

geeg has his in backwards. They bought a ton of these things to improve the fit of our C7s. I find them mostly a pain in the ass as you really have to force the upper and lower together to get the take down pin either in or out.

From what I can tell they have absolutely nothing to do with the accuracy of the rifle.

all right i have given up on that accuwedge thing as i dont feel like shimming the rubber down. maybe on a later date.

onwards

i installed the picatiny rails on my m4 foregrip for some reason i cant get it tight enugh to make it sturdy any ideas mind you i am only using one rail 3 long screws and 3 fastiners

The accuwedge is pretty much a placebo for ARs. If you believe it'd improve your accuracy, your performance may very well improve however in reality it does f*ck all. It will reduce play between recievers but if you want your AR to be more like the service issue rifles, keep the play because all issue rifles have it. Unless the recievers are severely loose, than I'd think about fixing it.

Btw, with the add-on picanny rails; because they only basically screw on you could improvise with any bolt/screw and nuts (if the ones it came with don't work so well).
