In surfing around I found this article on the Dakota Arms web site. I guess this gun is public now and this kind of relates to the new Milcun rifle project posted earlier as we make the stock for it as well. Many seem to have never heard of us but we do get around, and we are very good at keeping our mouths shut when needed.

From the article,

"My days of using a rifle like the Scimitar for business purposes are long past. However, that reality never impinges on daydreams. If I were designing the Scimitar, what features would I want? Miller and Giordano made it clear that anything was possible.

The A-5 stock was my focus. It looks cool, but none of our shooters liked its ergonomics.

Dakota expects that most customers will order a stock designed in collaboration with Robertson Composites of Ontario, Canada.

Dubbed KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid), the stock has no moving parts and will bear some external resemblance to the Nesika Varminters. However, internally KISS will have six reinforced anchor points for sling and/or bipod mounts. There will be no cheekpiece, to allow comfortable use by both right and left-handed shooters. In keeping with the philosophy of the Scimitar project, the stock will be tough enough to beat a tractor to death."
