Yes, I agree completely, Uberti is making some pretty nice stuff. I have a 5.5" El Patron in 45 Colt and it's an absolute joy to shoot. In all honesty the Uberti has a much smoother trigger and action right out of the box when compared to my unmolested Colt SAA. I know a spring kit would help the Colt out quite a bit but for basically 1/3 the price you're getting a darn good six shooter with the El Patron. And with the exception of some minor frame - grip fitting issues (very minor on my Uberti) the overall fit, finish, and feel on the El Patron rivals my Colt.

All that being said, I'm not sure about the long term reliability of the Uberti after 1000's of rounds in competition but for weekend warrior/casual range plinking I feel that it's a pretty solid investment in the fun factor department.

Great pic! I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4-3/4 version (my x-mas gift to myself).

Just debating between 357 and 45... and which model to pick, there are too many choices.

---Edit---

Trigger pulled!

This is what I've got incoming in .357 :d
