Just picked up a used SKS in pretty good condition, did not have the bayonet anymore and has a synthetic stock now.
Looking at all the posts on SKS origins I am a little confused by mine.
Has the 26 inside a triangle, with what looks like Chinese lettering beside it with the serial number on the side of the reciever.
Seems its part Russian and Chinese......don't know

How many digits in your serial number? If it is over 5 then it's not a Sino-Soviet.

yours was made in 1965 .

does it have a long or short barrel lug? blade or spike bayo?

Gun came with an aftermarket synthetic stock and no bayonet......like it better.
I believe it has the small barrel lug,gun is'nt near right now to confirm tho.
