Here is where you can enter your scores from the various matches (for rules on these matches go to the top of the rimfire page to the thread titled "Rules for Matches".).

And just for a bit of "background info": Unlike other postal matches where you have to mail the target to get it scored this is simpily based on the honour system and the shooter scores it. After this you simply post your results in this thread.

To enter this month's scores you need to shoot the target(s) in the month of April

Just a couple of "guidelines" to follow and you should be fine.

Please state the:

Which match you shot
Your score
Your screen name (i.e. cz452shooter)
Gun used
Scope used (or if it was open sights just state open sights)
Ammunition used

Here would be an example:

I was not impressed at all with the inconsistency of the Lapua Master M at 50 yards. Looks like it'll be practice fodder. :(

As far as the 100 yards matches, I was pretty happy with the Lapua Centre-X, set myself a new record with the 285-5x. The Super Club basically replicated the score I shot last time at 100 with the same ammo. My goal is to break 290 hopefully sooner than later.

open sight, I do not have a front aperture large enough for this target.
Lapua SC

Shot indoor.

This target is very hard to score with ten shots on it.
I think that I will cut and paste a five bull target together of just out to the 8 ring.
Then I will shoot two shots per bull and I will have a front aperture that will fit.

Finally got our range plowed out. Hopefully, if the decent weather lasts, I'll get out to try a couple of groups at 100 and some 50 yard targets as well. Eagleye.

that's good shooting xfire.
i am finding the same problem with target size and aperature so i like your idea with downsizing.
but i'll do it backwards. i'll cut out the bull from the 8 ring and reverse the target over the regular target.
it's good to see someone else who shoots irons.

my score:

20 yard prone
hornhead
martini international/iron sights
lapua standard plus
185/3X

I went to the range to try my reconfigured 20 yard target. I cut and paste (real scissors and glue) around the 8 ring and put six bulls on an 8 ½ X 11 as a master sheet, then used a photocopier. One sighter and five scoring bulls. It works great; you can actually score the shots if you shoot two in each bull. By going to the 8 ring I can use a 3.8 front aperture. If I can get the target scanned and made into a .pdf, I will get it to Jordan so he can post it.

x fire ...

i don't think i like you any more!!

it would appear there are snipers lurking on this site!

good shooting all.

i was at a gun show in dauphin ALL weekend.
danged if i didn't end up with a winchester 52B target AND a 52A ... :)

he who has the most toys wins right??

looking forward to see if they will help me with you sharp shooters!
probably NOT but i'll look cooler!

maybe! :D

Finally got to try out my Suhl on the range. [still waiting for my tuner to arrive] To say the initial results were promising would be an understatement!! :dancingbanana: :D I shot a few groups at 50 meters with a couple of top quality match ammos, and all performed very well with 5 shot groups averaging right around .18-.22". However, the first 100 yard group was the clincher, with a sweet .55" 10-shot group. I shot a 100 yard unlimited target in the rain, so it was hard to score properly, but definitely a 300, with possibly about 15X's Pretty washed up though, since I had printed it on photocopy paper, which is quite thin. I will see if I can repeat it on cardstock on a dry day, then I will scan and post it. Ammo was RWS R50, scope a 36X Leupold BR. Can't wait for that Harrell tuner to arrive. Regards, Eagleye.

One of the first nicer days for the range this year. 12C light wind. The wind seemed to pick up just as I started the 100 yard shoot. Had a good time and I'm making small improvements.

I like the 52B.
this is my personal best.
i am not sure how to post this but here goes.

The Harrell tuner arrived today. Looks great!! I will get the Suhl tuned and see what sort of groups it will shoot now. Sounds like I may have to shoot a few shots to find the "sweet" spot. Then I will shoot a few targets and post. Eagleye.

Update: Got to shoot this thing and experiment with the tuner a bit.....wow! I am impressed. Even in squirrelly conditions, wind-wise, I was able to shoot several great groups at 50 & 100. Got caught by the wind a few times at 100, but still managed a couple of 1-hole 5 shot groups. 50 yards yield bug-holes every time. I was shooting Eley Match EPS [Black box] Just about ready for that postal match!! Eagleye.
