Here is where you can enter your scores from the various matches (for rules on these matches go to the top of the rimfire page to the thread titled "Rules for Matches".).

And just for a bit of "background info": Unlike other postal matches where you have to mail the target to get it scored this is simpily based on the honour system and the shooter scores it. After this you simply post your results in this thread.

To enter this month's scores you need to shoot the target(s) in the month of February

Just a couple of "guidelines" to follow and you should be fine.

Please state the:

Which match you shot
Your score
Your screen name (i.e. cz452shooter)
Gun used
Scope used (or if it was open sights just state open sights)
Ammunition used

Here would be an example:

I found out my Leupold is not the proper scope for indoor short range. Its focal point is some where around 75yards, I have bought a Leupold VX-II 4-12x40 with AO Adjustment. Same day I took my 700VLS to the range just to fire it abit because its not seeing much action wanted to put some lead down the pipe and then clean it up. That gun has a Elite 4200 8-32x40 I was able to shoot 300 from the bench with harris bipod at 20 meters impressive eh... lol Actually I took 40 rounds and shot them all through the same hole that was the size of a dime... not a bad 40 shot grouping lol

For the Leupold I have I got a gallery shooting screw on AO correction ring for 50ft but its not as good as my elite scope, I did notice for this kind of shooting you really need to be able to see where the bullets are going, however i still believe that when shooting standing and kneeling you want to use less power on the scope.. I use 4x because at 12 it makes it look like I am moving alot. My prone scores have improved since I can now dial up the scope to 12x and see whats going on. I think I shot 92 in prone, not bad for bulk cheapy ammo.

Precision Shoot... 100 Yard Unlimited

We had our lcoal precision shoot today. I met another CGN'er (Yodave - great guy I might add :)) and also shot a new PB - kinda (have shot 799/800 before but today I had better X count and better groups). Here are my scores. Maybe _Shorty and Yodave will post their scores from today as well.

300-20X - cz452shooter
Winchester 52D, Weaver T20
Eley Match EPS, Cowan rest
5-15kmh winds, 6C out.

And then I completed the match with....

300-22X - cz452shooter
Winchester 52D, Weaver T20
Eley Match EPS, Cowan rest
5-15kmh winds, 6C out.

My average group size for the 10 shot groups were .814" I will post some pics later :D

281-4x - Yodave

american eagle 40 grain solids, rock rest

Once again Jordan nice shooting and great to meet you and shorty in person,
we had a blast and look forward to doing it again some time.

Great to hear that Yodave :) Would be great to have you guys out again!

BTW: My first precision shoot in probably better conditions using my Valmet Finnish lion and quality target ammunition was lower than your score was today (754). It wasn't until about 6 or 7 months later that I started gettting scores up past 770. I won't be at the next shoot I don't think but at the next one if you want to try some Lapua Superclub in your #4... I have a box you could borrow. I would be "proud as punch" with a score like that with Federal American eagle :) :D

This gun really likes to shoot CCI Standard Velocity but I ran out so I guess this score wasn't too bad with the Wildcats:redface:

Hey,

I thought I wasn't going to be able to get a score in this month... but I managed to get to the range for the first time this month! How sad...

In any event... you can tell that you need to keep practicing to keep your skills up...

Shot a new Personal best today for the 25 Yard Fun match

182 - cz452shooter
Ruger 10/22 Custom, Bushnell 3200 5-15 (on 10 power),
Federal bulk, GM .920 barrel, Revival industries stock
Calm - light winds, about 12C out and sunny!
Shot in about 2 minutes.

Also shot a.....:

166 - cz452shooter
Ruger 10/22 Custom, Bushnell 3200 5-15 (on 10 power),
Federal bulk, GM .920 barrel, Revival industries stock
Calm - light winds, about 12C out and sunny!
Shot in about 2 minutes.

_shorty was also at the range. While we were shooting we could hear odd explosion type sounds during while we were shooting not to far away. _Shorty went to investigate shortly after (as we could also see big black clouds of smoke coming from not far away) and found someone had lit a truck on fire  - Right in the middle of a forested area (Which would explain the explosion sounds we heard - the gas tank, etc blowing up). Didn't get as much shooting in as I would have liked but made the day a little bit more interesting  Hope they catch the guy who did it - vehicle was probably stolen :(
