Here is where you can enter your scores from the various matches (for rules on these matches go to the top of the rimfire page to the thread titled "Rules for Matches".).

And just for a bit of "background info": Unlike other postal matches where you have to mail the target to get it scored this is simpily based on the honour system and the shooter scores it. After this you simply post your results in this thread.

To enter this month's scores you need to shoot the target(s) in the month of September

Just a couple of "guidelines" to follow and you should be fine.

Please state the:

Which match you shot
Your score
Your screen name (i.e. cz452shooter)
Gun used
Scope used (or if it was open sights just state open sights)
Ammunition used

Here would be an example:

50 yard unlimited,

231-2x, cz452shooter,
Winchester 52B, Weaver T36
Eley club extra

50m Unlimited

EBruder, 186
Brno #4, Bushnell Rimfire 3-9x
Remington Target

Getting better.... still trialing different ammo... I'll try again later this month with something different.

Nice shooting EB. You may want to look eventually to upgrading your scope to something with more AO and power eventually. My scores went up a lot, (I had the same scope as you) when I purchaced a 6-24 with AO. You can get a lot of paralex even with those rimfire scopes at the lower distances.

That target for the 50m is very intimidating. I have been looking at changing targets to something slightly different. Maybe by next month I will have something figured out. I was think I may have found something - the 10 ring is about .3 instead of .1.

The fun is in the challenge

Hey,

Thanks! I'm sure that with time... and trying the lapua and eley ammo in my basement... that the scores will tighten up... it's a little disheartening to watch your reticle stay perfectly still on the target and the round land away from the point of aim!

I think the targets are good ... I like the challenge of the smaller targets...keeps it interesting...

Thanks again for doing all this work to orgaize.

Nice shooting sandtye :). And hope you are able to join us for future matches. Your shooting is realy good for prone with a bipod.

If you take a look at the top of the rimfire page I have made some charts on shooting in the wind that may be of some help to you.

For this month if there are enough shooters I think I will seperate the 50m unlimited class into two groups (match rifle and sport rifle). That way we don't have $300 rifles shooting against $2000 rifles. You don't need to list if you are sport or match - I will do that when posting scores

I did get a chance to shoot at 50 Yard Unlimited today. I shot two targets - first target wasn't so great - a 237 but I did slightly better on the target after that.

I played around with my mid barrel tuner as well as my front tuner setting and got it down preatty close. Its shooting allright but maybe I will do some additional tuning.

My score is:

243-3X - cz452shooter
Winchester 52D Custom, Weaver T20
Eley Match EPS ammunition
5-10km winds, overcast.

Here was my target ;)

Great shooting EB

ggpr; You score the target yourself. So all you have to do is print off the target (go to Online matches rules for details), and then score it. All these targets are "best edge" meaning the highest ring the bullet thouches is the score you get for that shot.

Good luck!

Lots of Fun

I would like to take part in this event, how do I score?

hi GGPR,

You'll have a good time... it's alot of fun...

Good way to practice too...

Hopefully we have a 3 position (prone, kneeling, and standing) event ready for the winter indoor season...

Looking forward to seeing your scores!
