Just as an introduction to the Postal Matches: These matches are set up so that all you have to do is select the match(s) you would like to shoot in, read the rules, print the target, shoot the target at the range, and post your score in the enter scores thread. You do not have to send in a target to me or anybody else: These matches are based strictly on the honour system
Here are the basic rules for all the matches: For specific rules on each match scroll down the page
All matches are based on the honour system. This means that you shoot the matches by the rules, at the proper distance and report your score. You score the target your-self.
All targets are scored best edge. The highest ring the bullet touches is what it scores. Go to this page for more information
Any rimfire caliber allowed
For the open sight match (50 yards only) you must use open sights. Peep sights are allowed.
For all other matches, rules are unlimited. This means that as long as the caliber is rimfire you are allowed to use any type of gun, ammo, scope, rifle rest, ect.
You are allowed up to 4 tries per month per gun on each match. You can shoot with as many guns as you like.
And some useful tips
I have found that if you are sighted in at 50 yards and would like to shoot at 100 yards you will have to move the scope up about 30-32 clicks if using target standard velocity ammo. If you are using high velocity ammo, about 20-22 clicks will do.

50 Yard unlimited
http://www.plinker.org/images/Targets/USBR/usbr85x11.pdf
Targets Needed: 2
Distance: 50 yards
Time limit: 20 minutes
Maximum score: 250-25X
Class: Scoped Bench-rest
Instructions: Shoot 1 shot at each bull, except for the last bull that has to be shot twice for a total of 25 shots. If the shot completely covers the 10 ring, which is the little inside dot measuring .100 in diameter than the shot scores a 10X. So again, to score an X, the shot must completely cover the 10 ring, with the lead made from the bullet completely over-top of the 10 ring.
If the shot misses the bull all – together the shot scores a “0”. No addition “make-up” shot may be taken.
*** Official USBR targets are also allowed
50 yard Iron Sights
http://www.uspalma.com/Targets/PDFs/75FT NRA.pdf
Targets needed: 2 (or 1: See note below)
Distance: 50 yards
Time-limit: 30 minutes
Maximum score: 200
Class: Open Sight Bench-rest
Instructions: Using open sights (peep sights and/or front apertures are allowed) fire 5 shots at each bull (10 shots per target) for a total score of 200.
*** You may also print off just one target for the match but if you have aperture sights and can "group" the shots fairly well you may find that it is hard to score. If you print off 1 target and can not tell which ring the bullet touches please score shot as being lower of the two. If you go this route shoot 10 shots at each target instead of five.
20 Yard Off-hand fun-match
http://www.uspalma.com/Targets/PDFs/75FT NRA.pdf

Distance: 20 yards
Time Limit: 45 minutes
Maximum score: 200

You may use some sort of rest to rest the gun on AFTER each shot – but not during the shot. The highest ring the bullet touches is the point(s) you get. If the shot touches the X you get a “10X” . The 9 ring on this target is the one that measures about 1.4" in diamter and the 10 ring is the one that measures about .6" in diameter. The X is the smallest ring that measures about 1/4" in diamter.
