The Nazi flag thread got me thinking about this. I bought some stuff at a really neat collectors shop in Vicotria once but don't think there are any shops selling same in Ottawa. I'd like to find some neat captured & brought home bounty such as flags, medals and such from WW2. Does anyone here know of any reputable online sources for military collectables?

They deal primarily with German items but are more recently expanding into Canadian, British, American etc militaria.
Their items tend to be a bit expensive but you can trust you are getting the real thing. Every item is well researched, described in detail and accompanied with nice clear pictures. I have had many dealings with them over the years (both selling and buying) and have always been more than satisfied with my experience.

Also since you are in the Ottawa area you might want to check out the Ottawa Military Heritage Show Sunday 18 April 2010, 0900 - 1500 hrs, at the Tudor Hall, 3750 North Bowesville Rd, Ottawa. Admission $7. This is a new location from 2009 and the 2009 shows were excellent. It is a very good regional event featuring all sorts of medals, badges and other militaria (no firearms).
