Only a couple of sleeps 'til deer camp!!!

I would guess that there's the vast majority of hunters in Alberta that are only just getting ready for hunting to start.
You may be done early, but you are definitely in the minority of hunters in Alberta.

Might help that I’m currently stationed in BC;
Went back out and put down a nice 4pt mule deer yesterday.
Now I’m definitely done for the season.

I'll be hunting just west of Misery Bay...where are you going to be hunting ?

Nice, my cottage is about 25 minutes from Misery Bay, near the end of the island. I haven't hunted on the island for several years, we hunt at home on the farm on 85c now. Had a pair of twins walk down my lane and 30' past my front door this fall though, much less coyote sign this year too. Just a heads up if you don't already know, if you're in a pinch for supplies and don't want to head to Spring or Gore Bay, the store in Meldrum is open again. They have a lcbo license but no stock as of the 3rd week of October, maybe before rifle starts though. They don't have a ton of stuff but you could aways call first if you need something. It's now called 540 Ends. Good luck to you!
