In Yellowknife and can't buy 4831...only RL19 and 22. Can someone provide min and max powder for 110g V-MAX using RL22. My Lyman and old Hornady Reload books don't have the info, Thanks.

Just shooting from the hip here but Im pretty sure RL-22 is way too fast (too achieve best results) for 110 gr. loads. Hope it works out for you, let us know how it works out.

Actually it is a bit on the slow side for a 110 grain bullet but it will still work well.

Doh!

that's what I meant. I think the word "fast" came up when I was thinking of what kind of speed these would or should be moving at.

From the data I can find RL-22 would be great (velocity) with 130 gr. bullets.

There's one load on Handloads.com using Reloder 19 with a 110 grain bullet and a Winchester primer. 58.0 grains. The guy says it's around 3150fps with light recoil and noise. Drop by 10% and work up.

With an oal of 3.34", max of 66.4grains. That gives compressed load. This is from the newest Quick load program. Start 15% lower and work up. 56.5 grains to start. It may work ok, even though it is not listed by Hornady.
