Ont. controlled hunt screw up

Just checking but am I the only person to mess up on their application for the Ontario controlled deer hunt? This would have been my 4th controlled hunt in as many years and didn’t have any problems in the past but I found out today (after being on hold for over 90 minutes) that I didn’t get my application in to them properly so I am ineligible to take part in the planned deer hunt.

I got mine 1st choice just submitted the draw application online pretty easy the printing of tags is where the problems are
 
I applied online and there was no place to choose the week of the controlled hunt you wanted, just the wmu . When I printed the tag it still doesn't have a certain week on it.

That sounds peculiar. You should have to enter a hunt code which would automatically be aligned with the corresponding week of the hunt.
 
Now that I think about it, I applied for antlerless and bought the license at the same time. Might not have actually applied to the controlled hunt ��
 
This year got a couple sheets of paper as a tag and Limited Entry App. Nothing mailed to me, so dont know if i got 89B. 89B is usually 100% sucess rate in the past. Kid at Fishing Store does't know how it works just how to submit Apps. he told me.

You won't get anything in the mail. you have to print them out yourself or go to service Ontario.
 
Buddy tried to print his out on Thursday. Spit out his moose tag, then his internet went down. When it came back up it said his deer tag was printed and was only able to get his licence summary printed. Time off work and an hour drive to Owen Sound he goes.
 
Hmmm.. . for controlled hunt under the new system, are we only going to see the barcode on the license summary? I didnt have any printing issues, but only the deer license (with antlerless validation) is printable)... nothing specific for the controlled other than being a part of the license summary... Is that the case for everyone ?

It should appear on the license summary only and as

On Controlled Deer Hunt Validation/ with the WMU and dates printed in the right side by the bar code on the license summary only....no additional tag can or will be allowed for printing... Your original tag is what gets notched....
