Funny thing, we just need the name and PAL for ammo at the store, but the RCMP insists that if someone wants to buy air pellets without a formal gun license we need to write down the ID number, the name, the age, and the bloody address =_=

I call it a grandma law. It makes your grandma happy but doesn't do a damn thing.

Purchased ammo at the Ottawa LeBaron last week, they recorded my PAL and ammo info. If they had requested anything more, I would have canceled my $100+ purchase!

That's not true, you provide your address, pal, contact number. Get added to the invoice in the business sale records

I think he was referring to over the counter sells. Like I said, in Quebec they just glance at your PAL. If ordered, well yeah, then they need all the info.

Uh I don't know were you buy your ammo, but the only information of mine that is ever recorded is my pal # and name.
