Ontario Black Bear--How big is this guy?

His ears are big meaning a young bear. I would say he might go 185 he is fat. Nice bear for a rug and sausage.

I agree. Look at his rear end. He'd be hard to stuff in the barrel. I'd say around 2 bills. Nice Black.

I was thinking he'd just fit that barrel. Probably a good average bear, wouldn't turn him down for a first.

I'd say 150 as well, maybe as high as 175 just before hibernation.

I agree with the lower estimates. Small/young bears can look bigger on the pictures. Not to mention that sitting pictures make them look even more fat. S/he is in good condition, looks healthy but definitely has a puppy face. I'd say 180lbs the most. Not bad though. Nice hide.

That's a nice looking average Ontario black bear. My guess is 180 also. Good eatin' bear there! Take it if you aren't looking for a trophy.

Just a pup. Probably yummy, probably has a nice soft coat. Tip it over, mix the meat with some moose and make an EPIC dry salami.
