Ontario Deer Draw Results are out.

Just an FYI for my fellow deer hunters, the results of the draw are available on your account page. Tags will not be set up for printing until around mid month. Both my buddy and I were successful in getting antlerless tags, the first time in all the years we've hunted together. I don't know if it made any difference, but I wrote a letter to MNR about the number of does in WMU56 and the fact that the number of antlerless tags allotted didn't seem to mesh with the overage of does. A lot of the locals were seriously ticked at the low number of doe tags that seemed to given out.

Archery doe tag for me again this year (100% archery tag rate here!) but will see about Controlled hunt, where last year only 61% received tags (I was one - yay me!)

40 something % where myself and my brother applied. Both got doe tags. Other two guys we use to hunt with made other plans this year, haven’t heard how they made out. First year I’ll be getting serious about the crossbow.

4 of us in our group and all 4 have doe tags, first time ever.
We are usually lucky to get 1 out of 4 in 64A .... now this means no tags for the next few years.
