Done. Seeing more deer this year than I have in the last few. I was afraid last winter would have caused a lot of die off, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Of course, the vast majorty of Ontario doesnt have three does per hundred acres.

Dont let QDM tell you how to manage deer.

I applied for a tag with a heavy hart this year.My hunting buddy passed away few days before Christmas. I tought about giving it up, but decided to keep his memory alive by hunting. Rest in peace my friend.

I posted a notice on this site when the draw went active. My buddy and I both got our names in the first week. Last year, neither of us were successful in getting a doe tag which is most unusual. Odder still, the lady at the sporting goods store said none of the people she talked to or heard of were lucky either.

You're a saint. My father and I would have missed the draw if I hadn't seen this.

Heres a question. I just bought my tag and it prompted me to print it myself. Is this now standard practice for deer tags? I thought they used to mail a plastic one out to you, but it would seem I am going to end up using a printer paper tag this year. Lets hope its not rain when I shoot it.
Seems ridiculous to me.

FYI I did miss the antler less draw. Now Im kicking myself, didn't see this in time.
