Ontario Deer Season?

Ok this is definitly a noob type question.., When is Deer season?

We just had 3 good sized does walk across the front yard...

If I lasso a deer from the deck is that considered hunting?

I was less then 10 feet from them until the dogs noticed them...

Lets see, I am guesing you are north of Bancroft which is in WMU 57, therefore archery is Oct 15 - Nov. 5, Nov. 20 - Nov. 30 and gun is Nov. 6 - Nov. 19.

As far as lasso, contact the MNR.

Then again,.....I met a real Yankee southerner (oxymoron?) who once used one of those air/propeller boats to net ducks taking off on the water. The Game Wardens in Florida could not charge him for scooping ducks because there was no law against it. The following year there was.

This is from my son's room this morning... Yes the milk crates are full of apples.. We have a dozen apple trees and anything we couldn't eat I put in the crates and put them at the edge of the tree line... (about 100 feet from the porch!)

I knew a chap who lasso'd a small caribou, and was leading it back to town to tie up in his backyard which was across the road from the game officer's house. Unfortunately, the caribou escaped.

You good to go with the Bow or Crossbow right now !

FWIW...the dates and regs are available online, here is a date to the deer specifics, scan down to page 11 and 12, and look for 57 on the left side, then look at the dates on the right.

The church is about a 1/2 mile from the house as a the crow files..
Wilson owns a double lot beside me just timber and they carved out room for the church on the second of the standard (1320X3300) lots...
