Ontario Games 2006 Skeet Event. Looking for Junior Shooters.

As part of the 2006 Ontario Games, the Skeet event will be hosted by the OSSA at the Ottawa Skeet Club.

As such we are looking for 10 Ontario shooters to fill the team who are 22 and under as of mid August 2006.

There will be a tryout at various locations in Ontario.

Although there is a competitive element to the games, there is a lot of emphasis on having fun.

If you have young shooters at your club, encourage them to participate in the tryout. There is no requirement to have ever shot competitive targets. Membership in the NSSA is not required. Our main goal is to encourage our junior shooters to get a taste of the game.

Brad....is there a minimum age and are all gauges required? My oldest son will be 13 and is interested. Do you know where the farthest south try out will be and when?

You never know if you don't try out. Seriously, we can find you a club in your region that you can go and shoot at 100 targets. We are looking for young shooters to give them a little experience while having a lot fun.

Worst case; you shoot at 100 targets. Any day where shooting 100 targets is the worst thing that happens, is a pretty good day in my books.
