Ontario Geese Season

Just around the corner. Anyone exited yet? This is my first year and have 3 spots at my disposal, looking to take out my first animal ever. Can't wait for deer either Oct 1st is coming up too

I already have my opening day planned...unfortunately I have to work at 7am, so it is going to be an evening shoot...Decoys, gun, and the dog are all ready to go...I cant wait!!

Yup... that time of the year when geese seem to get more intelligent... And I could swear it sounds like laughing as they are turning away.... lol....

Went out this weekend. Season opens Sep 1 here in SK. Three of us got 9 canada, 8 cranes and 9 ducks. Not a great weekend but at least we were hunting. Beats sleeping in.

My God, I forgot about it (yea right.. haha) and it crept up on me!

2 more days and I can go make some morning gunshot noise! Sigh.... alas I have nowhere to go, so if anyone in the Ottawa area wants to grab me and take me into a cornfield, I'd appreciate it...

Now mind you, since I want to hunt cornfields, I think I have to wait until they're all harvested LOL
