Ontario grouse hunting outfitters?

I’m considering a cabin or lodge-based grouse hunting trip this fall. Thinking mid-north Ontario (maybe max. 5-6 hours from Kingston). Looking for a clean/comfortable cabin, in an area with good grouse numbers and a dog friendly facility. Some decent fishing would be a bonus, but priority would be ruffed grouse. Any recommendations? I was going to hit the TO Sportsman’s Show and talk to some lodge operators, but of course COVID has killed that show and I’m also thinking the lodges could really use some support right now.

North of NB, Temagami or Tri towns area or north of Sudbury up towards Gogama.

Hopefully they will be in the high of their cycle when hunting.

West of the Tri-towns towards Elk Lake is also good.

I used to have good luck hunting the powerline, just north of Northbrooke. And thats not that far from you.

Theres a couple places in temiskaming that cater to grouse and ducks and winter wolves. Cant think of the names but i almost booked just couldnt find a partner so went solo hunting on crown land instead

5-6hrs from Kingston might be a struggle. Best luck i have had for Ruffles has been about and hr and a half north of Sudbury, Gogama area.

Good hunting in Ontario cottage country is equal to the same fantasy as hiring a boat/outfitter in Miami to go marlin fishing.
