I like "b" - imagine some idiot placing himself between your .338WM and a 6x6 bull elk? :sniper:

An academic point because elk hunting in Ontario is still not allowed.

I wonder in the 'he said, she said' exchange of information, how the courts would sort out the two sides? But however it would transpire, the person bent of the hood of the fish cop's truck would have been the one holding the firearm.

There was an incident here in ON where someone decided to stand behind a duck blind, he got charged!

That is precisely the kind of activity that most Ontario hunters have to deal with, as many of the people who own cottages on lakes here aren't exactly what you'd classify as common sensical country people....

It actually gives me some satisfaction to continue hunting in areas where such people are all too common, especially since this law came into effect.

On a similar vein, I think that it would be an interesting idea to push to make this a federal offence as part of the Criminal Code. That might be alot more effective than what I suspect is a couple hundred dollars summary offence.

I just like the fact that a video capturing device is built in to almost anything.

Especially the cell phone.

Another reason to take one with you!
