ontario matches in winter?

Are their any ontario (IDPA) matches planned for the winter or does it not pick up again until spring?

lol OK, that was pre-mornining coffee. I forgot there is anything other than IDPA :)

Any IDPA matches?

I have been meaning to try IPSC, if they are more active in the Winter than IDPA maybe now is a good time.

good idea. I've started designing some stages and will be looking for an indoor club to host or rent me the space. It will be a non-sanctioned (ipsc type) match.. 5-7 stages, over 100 rnds.. (depending on venue and space to play with).
probably for feb. or march latest..

will post more info when close to becoming a reality. It's my first attempt to do so.... wish me luck.
 
I'm hoping to be back from Portage-la-Prarie MB come February and my trigger finger is already itching some fierce. Hoping that there will be something in the works for around that time.

The only part we may have to change is stage 3 being at FRPC and stage 4 being at TMC. Some people will not want to drive two hours even though it will be an awesome stage. :p

We could set up a drive by stage along the 401 to keep everyone interested hahaha! You think the CFO would approve that?
 
There are IDPA matches in SW Ontario all Winter. Kingsville Shooting Sports just had a match yesterday. It was a great match. Windsor Action Pistol has matches all Winter as well. Rondeau Rod and Gun Club (Blenhime) has a match in January.

At Rondeau we shoot four Stages indoors, and four stages outdoors. It's great fun.

There are lots of options to shoot, you just need to be willing to drive for it.

Rondeau would be a fun road trip, maybe with an overnight in london on the way...I miss University of Western girls :)
