Hi everyone, last fall i bought a 513T bolt action, target 22LR. Love the gun, shoots better than i am capable of. Gun is a keeper, not for sale. These were used as trainers in cubs/cadets and other groups.

SOOO...someone or group has carved initials on the bottom of the pistol grip. N.F.D.V. I bought the gun through Simpson's auctions in Ontario. Because of the geography i thought the first two initials might be Niagra Falls. So i am looking for info on source or group. The manufacture date is 1953, so would be a post war group.

Thought i would btt to see if anyone new has some info to add.

A lot of these guns were bought for associations threw the Papermill industries here in NWO, so it maybe a "division of" Abittibi and Great Lakes Paper Co had shooting clubs for employees children!
I bought a 99% cond Rem model 521 Jr set up with Lyman peep sights from the factory.
Good luck on your search for where your gun came from!
