Passed the Hunters Ed course yesterday. Looking to go get my H1 outdoors card today, but I have a question before I go get it. My PAL is currently in the mail, should be arriving in a week or two. Do I need to show my pal with my yellow Hunters Ed course certificate to obtain the H1 version card? My yellow Hunters certificate has the H1 box checked off showing that I've completes Firearm Safety Course. Is that enough, or do I need to wait till I have my PAL.

I just don't want to jump the gun so to speak and appear uninformed at the counter.

"...Is that enough..." Should be. The Hunter's Safety course has nothing to do with the PAL course though.
The Outdoors Card is a tax added by Bob Rae's gang.
 
Got it all sorted out today. Lady at the Service Ontario just asked to see my CFSC certificate along with the Hunters Ed certificate. Got my temp H1 Hunters card along with a small game tag and conservation fishing tag. Now I just play the waiting game for my PAL to arrive in the mail.
