I would like to know what long range shooting possibilities exist in southern Ontario (let's say max 3 hr drive any direction from west Toronto).

I am an ORA member; ORA is fine but there you can shoot only when events are organised. What I am looking for are possible ranges / clubs where we could shoot more often at longer distance than the classical 200 - 300 yards most clubs have. Sure, I would like 1000 yards but even less (but above 400) would be of interest.:sniper:

Thank you.

and out of their is the OSA, which is the Operational Shooting Association
I have attended 2 of their classes and loved every minute there. Keith and Linda are topnotch.
They have lots of events out there and you will not find any better. I'm working I Alberta right now, otherwise I would have been a member of the OSA and lovin every minute of it. The coaching you will get while there cannot be beat.

Our season is just about over. Next event is our two day pistol match, weekend following Thanksgiving.

Our events are organized, this isn't a drop in and shoot facility.
But yes, the coaching and instruction are top notch.

Guys, that's great! Thanks.
Yes, the season is almost over but next spring I will use OSA's training and facilities at Milcun.

I have only been to the East Elgin club once. They are a very actice club with some excellent members and top notch facilities. I would recommend it highly. If you only make it out there once next year, go for their open house. (if you don't mind the line ups)
