Ontario restricted transfer times this spring

So looking for some updated transfer times. I am tired of the speculation post. Want to see what people are experiencing in real time.

What are your experiences in transfers in Ontario. We know other provinces are getting it done somewhat quicker and that is good but please do not post if you are not reporting an ONTARIO experience.

Has anyone got an ONTARIO transfer done since mid May)

Mine Ontario

Purchase- transfer notification

ALL Business to private new

Feb 25 - Mar 19 - 20 days
Mar 13 - Apr 09 -26 days

May 25 - June 21 27 days
May 30 - ???

I do know someone who ordered in April and transfer took around 28 days.
What is your Ontario experience

Given my history with the Ontario CFO, I placed my orders on the 2nd and 3rd of June from businesses to me. Normally I would wait three week. With what's happening, I don't expect to see my new pieces until August. I'll keep you posted.
 
Like in the other Ontario transfer thread my early May private to private was about 4 weeks. Same as my March and April ones. My guess is anything submitted prior to May 30 will be about the same 4 weeks. Anything submitted May 30’th and after hopefully will be processed in order.
My dealer to me order went in on May 31’st. Figure it will be a couple of months anyways.
Just a rumour but someone somewhere mentioned due to the announcement Orillia had 1500+ recent Ontario transfer requests and 2 people processing…..
 
Any update on the wait time for a transfer? I am waiting to hear about my purchase from a store. Its been 16 days and no word from the store or cfo. Store is in Ontario and i am in alberta. Starting to worry

You are in Alberta, the cluster fuc# that are Ontario CFO wait times do not apply to you. Most people in Alberta, even if they purchased from an Ontario store, had their transfers cleared by the Alberta CFO in a few days time. Something is amiss here. It is possible the store never initiated your transfer. You need to contact them and ask for your reference number.

Thanks. I sent off an email asking for my reference number. Hopefully they have it.
This is by far the longest I have had to wait for a transfer to be approved. Usually its a day or maybe 2 tops.

Not true, some people have received their transfers. See some of the many other threads on this topic. Looks like times are around a month in Ontario.
 
has anyone who bought from a dealer in Ontario after the ban announcement had a transfer completed?

if so date purchased and date transfer completed?
 
I bought one on the 28th of may and 3 on the 31st. I have the one from the 28th approved and shipped and one from the 31st approved and shipped, should have it tuesday. Waiting for cfo to approve the 2 others. All bought from online retailers
