Ontario Second Allocation results Question

With 4 points I drew a bull tag in 21A as first choice in the second allocation. How many points did it take for hunters to draw a cow tag as 'second choice'. I am thinking a couple of guys in our group must have messed up their applications with the new system as with 3 points I would have though they would have drawn a cow but maybe not. It is all history now and at camp we will have tutorials for next year.

Second round, 2nd & 3rd choices are random draws, not point based. First choice costs you your points. If your buddies put in 99Z to save their points, then they were in the random draw portion, and there might not have been many tags left over by that point.

You are correct. I made a mistake on my terminology. What I meant was how many points were needed in the second allocation to get a cow on the first choice. I don't think anyone was using 99z.

The point requirements aren’t publicly known yet. The only way you can find out is by talking to hunters who got a tag. What’s interesting is that in some cases it was easier to draw a cow tag in the first allocation as most hunters chased bull tags.
