Ontario Shooting Sports Events

Hello Everyone,

I was at a Blue Jays game last week and sat there wondering if we can enjoy shooting sports in the same manner. Would be nice to see how pros do it, while having some nachos or hotdogs!

Anyone know of such a thing? Any websites/links/calendars I could check out maybe?

I'm in the GTA, still waiting for my licence but have visited Silverdale so have my earmuffs and stuff if needed for such events.

Yeah, I've wondered about this, too.

I think it would be nice to go watch some 3-gun, IDPA, IPSC matches to see what it's like, and maybe have a chance to talk to some of the participants.
One can only learn so much watching Youtube, ha ha

Actually, you can see a bunch of major shooting events this summer at the Pan-Am games. The shooting sports will be held at the TITS club up near Barrie from July 11 to 19. The Ontario Trap Championships are at the Hamilton Gun Club on the August 1st long weekend. I can't give you the dates and locations for the other shooting disciplines without doing a bunch of searching.
