Folks:

I know it may affect you directly, but our Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources is proposing to bring back the spring bear hunt in parts of Northern Ontario. We need all the support we can get on this.

Get onto the site and vote for reintroduction of spring bear hunt and pass this along to as many hunters as you can. Let’s not let the antis decide this for us.

Asking Torontonians if there should be a spring bear hunt in Timmons or The Sue seems pretty pointless and stupid to me. Of course the Cityots are going to be against killing fuzzy wuzzy Bears they never have to worry about.
Clearly I voted For the spring hunt. I'm surprised the number against is only 50% in Toronto.
 
Thanks guys, I'm not sure how much influence this has on the final outcome, but its a pretty easy click and we should show support...

I understand preservation of nature and fully support it, without nature there is no hunting, without nature there are no humans.

That said, people trim their gardens so everything flourishes and grows, we hunters do exactly the same by balancing the scales of nature out there. Its not about saving something that's in danger, to which I fully support, but its about preventing problems that overpopulation can have. That's the whole point of it isn't it?

In the end, if it ends up being all cancelled, it will surface back up at some point when police start getting exponential calls of attacks and property damage.

Seems to me it was cancelled in the first place because some major Mike Harris supporter was against it an threatening to make large waves. Never any logical reasoning to cancel it . Liberals are vulnerable and which ever side caries the most votes will win. ;)
