There, screw the course and just challenge the exam.

Way too long....classes way too crowded. Waste of a day, except now I can hunt turkey.

P.S. Taylor Scarr.....every big game critter I shot with my bow using mechanical broadheads resulted in complete pass throughs and quick humain kills. Now I think that selection of the type of mechanical broadhead is important. I do not use any mechanical broadhead which require use of rubber o-rings, as my experience with these types of broadhead may have release problems. I shoot near max poundage on my bow and limit my shot to less than 30 yards.

I took the course when it first came out in this area .
At that time it was informitive . There was a few things brought out that were different than any other hunting I've done.
3 yrs ago , I sat in with my son ( I thought , what the heck )
...whoa...what a boring session.
It was not the same as before , fersure.

Every year there's at least one post on here about how someone got shot turkey hunting. Case in point for the course.

I found it very informative, and I believe it was that course that taught me the fundamentals and tactics to wild turkey hunting.

In the end, yes, it cost me a Saturday, BUT, it's given me the basics that have helped put turkey dinners on the table every year.
